AI-Generated Images and Customer-Supplied Artwork
Vector files not Images files for Engraving
Creative Indulgence requires Vector files for the sharpest laser engraving or etching (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, or vector PDF). Vector files use smooth mathematical lines that stay perfectly crisp at any size, so even tiny text and fine details look clean and professional. Image files (JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP etc.) are made of pixels, so when we enlarge them for engraving, they often appear blurry, jagged, or fuzzy. We can still engrave a good-quality image—especially simple designs—but detailed work will not look as crisp as it would from a vector file. If you do not have a vector file, we can in most cases create your logo or design to a vector at a discounted rate or charge full price and sent you the finished file (you can purchase the full version any time after) At Creative Indulgence, we value good clean work that will stand out from the rest, so when another companies say they can engrave with an image file you are most likely not getting the best quality. A vector file is always the BEST. Please send us only true VECTOR file (don't save your image to these files in will not work) We need true VECTOR Files in PDF, EPS, SVG, Ai Illustrator file formats ONLY. For the best quality, that we stride for, giving you the best result.
Customer-Supplied & Ai Generated Artwork Policy
We print exactly what you provide us. We do not modify, enhance, or redesign your files unless you specifically purchase our design/proofing services.
AI-Generated Images Many popular AI image generators (ChatGPT - Midjourney -DALL·E - GROK - Stable Diffusion, etc.) produce files optimized for digital/screen display (typically 72 DPI and lower resolution, often 1024×1024 pixels or similar). These files frequently look sharp and impressive on phones/computers but do not meet professional printing standards.
Our High-quality printing requires:

350 DPI (dots per inch) min. at the final print size

Appropriate file dimensions (e.g., a 300 DPI image for an 8×10" print needs to be at least 2400×3000 pixels)
Common issues with AI-generated files include:

Blurriness or pixelation when enlarged

Visible artifacts, unnatural patterns, or "AI noise"

Poor edge definition and detail loss in fine areas

Color shifts between screen (RGB) and print (CMYK)
Our responsibility ends at faithfully reproducing the file you supply.
If the source image is low-resolution or contains AI-specific limitations, the printed result may appear poor quality — and we cannot be held responsible for those limitations. We strongly recommend:

Upscaling your AI image with professional tools (Topaz Gigapixel AI, Let’s Enhance, Adobe Super Resolution, etc.) before submitting

Supplying the highest-resolution version available from your AI tool

Ordering a small proof/sample first if you're unsure about print quality (small fee will apply)
